Carbon Fiber Cane

I have bought a few of these from Unique Kink and have been delighted with them. I have been using the carbon fiber cane for at least five years and consider it an essential item in my (very extensive) collection of implements. I would never attend a party without one. I have many rods/canes of different types, from basic rattan to Delrin and acrylics to progressively longer and denser rattans and dragon canes. Each one has its own characteristics and optimal uses. Except for national parties, to which I take a huge number of implements, I often take only a selection of the canes. The carbon fiber cane is one I would never leave out of a traveling collection. This cane feels quite different from the acrylics or the rattan canes. Weird as it sounds, I would describe the feel of the carbon fiber cane on impact as "dry". It is not as sharp as the bite of a senior rattan cane, and its impact feel is not as deep as acrylic canes of comparable length and diameter. It is its own unique feel, one that I consider very satisfying to give and to receive. The cane is light to hold but entirely capable of delivering a stroke that will get the attention of the Bottom. And as a top I really appreciate the fact that, due to its stiffness, it will not wrap, which means one can be confident that even a misplaced stroke will still land in the right [target] area and will not wrap. The stiffness of the cane also ensures that accuracy of aim is much more easily achieved than with long rattan canes. I highly recommend this cane as an excellent addition to anyone's collection.
